Our Try Dive – Shore Dive is a simple and exciting way to experience scuba diving for the first time in the beautiful waters of Samal Island.
No previous scuba-diving experience is required. You will be accompanied by a qualified dive professional throughout the activity, from the initial briefing until you are back on shore.
This experience is perfect for first-time divers, couples, families, friends, and travelers who simply want to discover what it's like to breathe underwater.
Duration: approximately 2–3 hours
Actual underwater time is normally around 30–45 minutes, depending on the participant's comfort, air consumption, conditions, and instructor's assessment.

Before entering the water, your instructor will introduce you to the basic scuba equipment and explain how to:
Breathe underwater
Equalize your ears
Clear your regulator
Clear your mask
Control your buoyancy
Communicate underwater
Respond to basic underwater situations
You will first become comfortable in shallow water before proceeding with the guided dive.
The actual dive will remain within a shallow, controlled recreational profile appropriate for a first-time diver.

Actual duration may vary depending on the participant, sea conditions, equipment preparation, and instructor assessment.
The dive depth will be determined by the instructor based on the participant's comfort, ability, environmental conditions, and applicable training standards.
For a first-time participant, the activity will normally remain in a shallow-water environment.
This is an introductory experience and is not equivalent to an Open Water Diver certification.

Avoid heavy meals immediately before diving. A light meal and adequate hydration are recommended.
Your safety and comfort are our priority.
The instructor will continuously assess your comfort, ability, and the environmental conditions throughout the activity.
You are never required to continue the dive if you are uncomfortable.
The activity may be shortened, modified, postponed, or cancelled due to:
Poor weather
Strong waves
Strong currents
Poor visibility
Unsafe sea conditions
Equipment issues
Participant health or comfort
Other safety considerations
A Try Dive is an introductory scuba experience and not a scuba certification course.
Participants who want to continue diving after the experience may enroll in an Open Water Diver course.
