Emergency First Response – Care for Children

Be Prepared to Care for the Little Ones

Children and infants require a different approach to first aid and emergency care.

The Emergency First Response – Care for Children course is designed to teach parents, caregivers, teachers, childcare providers, dive professionals, resort staff, and other responsible adults how to respond to common childhood injuries and illnesses.

Through practical skills training and realistic scenarios, participants learn how to provide appropriate emergency care to children and infants while waiting for professional medical assistance.

The program follows EFR's pediatric-focused approach to Primary and Secondary Care.

Why Is Pediatric First Aid Different?

Upon successful completion of the required course components, participants receive the applicable Emergency First Response – Care for Children certification through the selected training agency.
